“Honestly, I'm done talking about Epstein for the time being. I'm gonna trust my friends in the administration. I'm gonna trust my friends in the government."”
— The Charlie Kirk Show
Notes:
The next day, he clarified that when he said "for the time being," he meant "yesterday" and that he was merely taking a one-day break from the topic due to the saturation of coverage at the TPUSA summit. But seriously, who would say something like "I'm done talking about Epstein for the time being" and "I'm gonna trust my friends in the administration" when they mean they'll just not talk about the issue for one day? His audience wouldn't say he abandoned the issue if he didn't comment on it for day.
“President Trump promises to end birthright citizenship on Day One, calls it “ridiculous.” He’s right. The 14th Amendment was written to make citizens out of former slaves, not illegals, and has never been challenged at SCOTUS. End it, Mr. President.”
Notes:
First, it was indeed challenged in the Supreme Court in the case of United States vs Wong Kim Ark. Second, the president of the United States doesn't have the power to end or change anything in the constitution; there is a process for that. Third, if the amendment was intended to be only for former slaves it would have been phrased differently.
“We need to have a Nuremberg-style trial for every gender-affirming clinic doctor. We need it immediately.”
— The Charlie Kirk Show
Notes:
Comparing doctors who provide gender-affirming services to Nazi war criminals is quite rich
“I have a very radical view on this, but I defend it and I'm going to continue to defend it. We made a huge mistake when we passed the Civil Rights Act in the mid-1960s.”
— Turning Point USA AmericaFest 2023
“Prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people — that's a fact.”
— The Charlie Kirk Show on Real America's Voice
“I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.”
— TPUSA Faith event at Awaken Church
“Yes, I hate the word democracy but yeah. … Yes. I'm not a fan of democracy, yeah.”
— Timcast IRL
“If they can make you put a mask on, they'll take your guns. They can make you take a vaccine, they control your children.”
— The Charlie Kirk Show
Notes:
"If they can make you wear a seat belt and obey a speeding limit, they'll take your guns. They can make you take a driving test, they control your children". The argument should be on whether mask mandates are effective and worth it, not that flawed logic.
